Immigration Case Granted!
After trying two other migration lawyers, Afia's legal Advice managed to get a migration case granted for her client to join her husband in the Netherlands. The case has been pending since 2015, rejected twice after consultation by other lawyers, but Afia's legal Advice managed to put the puzzles together!
Income Tax resolved!
After an investigation, the tax authorities claimed the church was a non-profit organisation, lacking the so-called "Anbi Status" which the church members needed to file their tithes and offerings on their income tax form.
Afia's legal Advice faced the tax authorities in court and the Court of Appeal and VICTORY! She won! Now church members are allowed to file their tithes and offerings on their income tax form.
Administrative Law Case Won!
The SVB ( Social security bank) wanted to reduce the pension income of my client. According to the SVB my client was sharing a joint household and burden with her daughter, meaning the income of the daughter should also be considered.
In the appeal procedure Afia's legal Advice managed to ensure her client received her full pension, without taking her daughter's income into consideration!
Mediation Case Resolved!
A company was hired to fix a job at my client's home. However, it was not done to the satisfaction and agreement of my client.
After having a chat with my client and the owner of the company at 'Afia's legal Advice' office, the dispute was mediated by Afia. Both my client and the owner of the company left the office with an agreement they were both happy with, and there was no need to get a judge involved!
